Неймовірний вечір у Львові на День Незалежності України!

24 серпня Львів став центром великого святкування Дня Незалежності. На головній сцені міста відбувся грандіозний концерт Артема Пивоварова, який об’єднав унікальні творчі сили — Муніципальну академічну чоловічу хорову капелу ім. Л. Ревуцького та Національний академічний оркестр народних інструментів України (НАОНІ).

Цей вечір став справжнім поєднанням сучасної української музики з багатим академічним звучанням. Сотні глядачів змогли відчути неймовірну енергію спільного виступу, де класика й сучасність злилися в єдиний могутній акорд.

Святково, потужно та незабутньо — саме так можна описати атмосферу цього концерту, який залишив у серцях кожного присутнього гордість за Україну та її культуру.

PETRO GADZHALA

Tenor

He was born in Ternopil on 11 July 2004, where he took his first steps in music. Since childhood, he has been attracted to the world of art, so he decided to enter a music school on his own. After graduating from the College of Arts, Petro continued his studies at the National Music Academy of Ukraine, majoring in vocals.

His lyrical tenor has already brought him victories at various vocal competitions and festivals. In addition to singing, Petro plays the guitar and piano, and is passionate about recording songs and covers with his guitar. He is sincerely devoted to Ukrainian music and has been supporting his country through charity performances since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

DENYS KHOMENKO

Baritone

Soloist of the Revutsky Municipal Academic Men's Choir.

He was born on 26 May 2001 in Kyiv. A professional singer and author of scientific articles, he is a winner of international vocal competitions. Denis successfully combines academic and pop vocals, working in such genres as jazz, pop, rock, classical music and Ukrainian folk songs.

In 2023, he received a bachelor's degree from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts in conducting and choral art (academic), and in 2024, a master's degree.

Since 2020, Denys Khomenko has been working in the Impressio quartet and later in KARE, which is part of the Revutskyi Municipal Academic Men's Choir. As a member of the group, he proved to be a talented musician, songwriter and arranger, actively participating in such programmes and projects as 20 Love Songs, From Year to Year, Classics Without Limits, Retro with a Jazz Flavour, French Palette, Hits of Ukraine and Beyond, as well as in the chapel's major New Year and spring concerts.

Denis also actively collaborates with well-known Ukrainian artists such as Artem Pivovarov and Olga Polyakova, taking part in concerts at prestigious venues. As a chapel soloist, he has performed brilliantly in choral programmes and projects such as We, the Maidan based on the play by Nadiya Simchych and Musical Walk along Andriyivskyy Descent.

RIPPLE

Baritone

He is a laureate of national and international competitions and festivals, winner of the music talent show Karaoke on the Maidan. He graduated from the Mariupol College of Arts in 2017 with a junior specialist degree in solo singing.

Danylo actively collaborated with the Loretto Chamber Choir and the Mariupol Folk Orchestra, and also participated in the international project "Ways of Friendship with Ricardo Muti" (Kyiv-Ravenna, Italy).

Since 2022, he has been working at the L. Revutskyi Municipal Academic Men's Chapel as a vocalist and member of the KaRa band. Danylo actively participates in various pop and jazz concert programmes. In 2024, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy with a master's degree and took part in a masterclass with German opera singer Daniel Ochoa. He is a soloist at the Tchaikovsky Opera Studio of the National Music Academy.
His creative work includes collaborations with well-known artists such as Artem Pivovarov, Olya Polyakova, and Serhiy Mahera, as well as with the National Academy of Arts and Sciences of Ukraine, the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic, the Kyiv Municipal Wind Orchestra, the Kyiv Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth, and the First Plan Theatre Company.

BOGDAN PARKHOMENKO

Tenor

The vocalist is a native of Chernihiv, born in 1996. A winner of numerous national and international competitions, he graduated from the Chernihiv Music College with a degree in academic singing.

After that, he received a master's degree at the Faculty of Arts named after A. Avdiyevsky of the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University. Since 2020, he has been working at the Revutskyi Men's Choir as a member of the KaRe Quartet, and later became its director.

Bogdan is actively involved in concert activities, contributing to the development of Ukrainian musical culture.

ANASTASIA DOVBIUS

The youngest soloist of the chapel with a lyrical and colouratura soprano

She was born on 23 December 2001 in Khmelnytskyi.

A winner of numerous national and international competitions, she began her musical career at the Khmelnytsky Zaremba Music College, where she studied from 2017 to 2021.

She continues to develop her talent at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, studying at the Department of Opera Singing. Since 2023, Anastasiia has been working at the L. Revutskyi Municipal Academic Men's Choir.

Anastasiia has an exceptional vocal technique that allows her to masterfully perform the most complex arias. Her singing is always distinguished by the depth of emotion and sophisticated musicality that captivates the audience from the first sound. Constantly improving her skills, she actively participates in concert programmes, promoting the Ukrainian and world opera heritage.

ANNA ZARETSKA

Soloist of the L. Revutsky Municipal Academic Male Choir and the Kyiv Opera, master of a wide academic and concert repertoire

Her performances include opera and chamber music by such great composers as Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Lysenko, Kireiko, Verikovsky, Schubert and others.

The artist does not limit herself to classical repertoire, but actively creates various concert programmes, such as Classics Without Limits, Women's Images of the River, Soul Sings Romance, Christmas Gift and July Watercolours. It is known for its support of young talent by inviting music school students to take part in concerts, giving them the opportunity to take their first steps on the professional stage.

Anna Zaretska actively collaborates with contemporary Ukrainian composers, performing their works. A special event was her performance of the title role in the mono-opera Lady Lazarus.

At the same time, her creative expression goes beyond academic music - Zaretska successfully performs in programmes with pop and jazz style of singing, such as "Candles. Classics. Jazz" and "Retro with a taste of jazz".
Her repertoire includes jazz standards from the works of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Doris Day, as well as classical crossover songs, including those by Sarah Brightman, Emma Chaplin and Edith Piaf. Anna also performs arias from musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera and Cats, as well as famous film scores, most notably her performance of the Diva Plavalaguna aria from The Fifth Element.

Zaretska has experience performing on the world's leading stages, including in Poland, the USA, Canada, Denmark and Norway. In 2021, she represented Ukraine at the prestigious BAC CREDOMATIC Music Festival in Costa Rica, where her talent was highly appreciated by the international audience.

AIDA ZAITSEVA

Artistic Director of the Boys and Young Men's Choir of the Revutsky Chapel, conductor, teacher. People's Artist of Ukraine

She was born on 15 May 1949 in Makhachkala, Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

In 1965-1969, she studied at the Makhachkala Hasanov Music College.

Graduated from the Leningrad State Conservatoire in 1974: Conducting, choral conducting.

In 1977, she completed an internship as an assistant.

1982-1988 - Artistic director of the choir of boys and young men "Dzvinochok".

Since 1988, he has been the chief conductor of the Boys and Young Men's Choir at the Levko Revutsky Municipal Academic Men's Choir.

2001-2015 - Lecturer at the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

2008-2010 - Artistic Director of the Boys and Young Men's Choir of the Conducting and Choral Department of the KSCM School named after M. Lysenko.

Under her direction, the choir of boys and young men won the title of Laureate of International Arts Festivals in Hungary, Great Britain, the USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, the Republic of Belarus, Poland, etc. He is an active member of the Organising Committee of the Tonica Choirmasters Club. Chairman of the Board of the KANT Charitable Foundation.

VIKTOR GRITSYSHYN

Assistant to the Chief Conductor

Since 1997, his talent as a singer, composer and arranger of works for men's choir has been fully developed. His oeuvre includes many bright and varied works - music for choir based on canonical, spiritual and poetic texts, arrangements of church chants and Ukrainian folk songs. Victor Hrytsyshyn's works on the recordings of the Revutsky Municipal Academic Male Choir, more than 200 of which are available, are broadcast on national radio and television, as well as in the BBC's Music Classic radio programme. CDs of sacred and folk music recorded by the men's choir adequately represent and popularise the national choral culture of Ukraine in the world.

Recently, with the participation of Viktor Mykolayovych, interesting and unusual programmes have been created and successfully received by the audience. The programme "Ukrainian Romance", "Songs from Films", "Born Free", the programme of Jewish songs "Lehaimo, or To avoid crying, I laugh...", as well as "Ethnic Necklace of Ukraine" and "Ivan Mykolaychuk. Pieces of Songs and Fate", in which he also proved himself as a screenwriter and author of Ukrainian texts.

SERGEY KUDRYAVTSEV

Born on 13 June 1984, Vatutino, Cherkasy region
In 2004 he graduated from the P.D. Demutsky Uman State Music College with a degree in Choral Conducting.
In 2009, he graduated from the Drahomanov National Pedagogical University with a master's degree and a speciality in vocal performance and music teaching.

In 2014, he studied at the Tchaikovsky Kyiv Music Academy and received a bachelor's degree in Musical Art, specialising in vocal performance.

He is currently pursuing a PhD at Vernadsky Taurida National University.

He has been working at the Revutsky Municipal Academic Men's Choir since 2008.

During his work in the chapel as a vocalist with the leading master of the stage, he proved to be a highly professional singer who is constantly working to improve his professional skills.
Since 2022, he has been an assistant director of the artistic department.

Thanks to his good training and efficiency, he is one of the leading soloists of the chapel. He has made a significant contribution to the ensemble's concert programmes and the development of choral art in Ukraine.

Together with the chapel, he participated in many Ukrainian and international festivals.

ARTUR SMIRNOV

Chief Conductor of the Revutsky Chapel since September 2022

He was born on 3 April 1995 in Volyn.

He graduated with honours from the Volyn State School of Culture and Arts (Department of Choral Conducting, class of G. Shyrma).

In 2014, he entered the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, Department of Choral Conducting (class of Professor, People's Artist of Ukraine Yevhen Savchuk).

In 2018, he received a bachelor's degree with honours and entered the master's programme (supervisor - PhD, Associate Professor O. Putiatytska).
Artur Smirnov is the winner of the All-Ukrainian Bortnyansky Choral Conducting Competition in the nomination "for prayerful performance".
Laureate of the First Prize of the XIV All-Ukrainian Music Olympiad "Voice of the Country" named after Yevhen Stankovych.

In 2019, he won first place at the M. Kolessa All-Ukrainian Competition for Young Conductors (Lviv).

From September 2018 to the present day, he has been working at the L. Revutsky Municipal Academic Men's Choir. The young conductor is respected by the team for his dedication, conscientiousness and responsibility to his work!

Over the years of his work in the chapel, he has prepared many independent programmes and recorded the disc "Ethnic Necklace of Ukraine".

In 2020, he graduated with a master's degree from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine and was recommended for admission to postgraduate studies and internships at the Academy.

2020 - 2021 he studied at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine at the Department of Choral Conducting.

In 2021, he entered the creative postgraduate study at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.

In March-April 2022, he participated as a conductor and choirmaster in the creative project of the Chernivtsi Chamber Choir of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic.

Since September 2022, he has been the chief conductor of the Revutsky Municipal Academic Men's Choir.

In 2023, he became one of the nominees for the Presidential Scholarship for Young Artists.

VOLODYMYR KURACH

Artistic Director, People's Artist of Ukraine

Born on 6 September 1958 in Zolochiv, Lviv region.

In 1981, he graduated from Drohobych Music College (class of E. Bernatska).

Volodymyr Kurach graduated from the Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatory (class of M. Berdennikov).

Since 1985, he has worked as a conductor of the Dumka State Academic Choir.

Since 1990, he has been the conductor of the L.M. Revutsky State Academic Male Choir of Ukraine.

Since September 2017, he has been the artistic director of the Revutsky Chapel.
As the choir's leader, he is a figure who always delights audiences on the numerous stages and various concert venues where the choir performs today.

Under his leadership, the Choir continued the glorious tradition of brilliantly performing Christmas concerts, a kind of calling card for the ensemble.

During his work in the chapel, Volodymyr Kurach prepared for performance a large number of choral works and concert programmes by Handel, Mozart, Stravinsky, Taneyev, D.Bortnyansky, M. Berezovsky, A. Wedel, D. Shostakovich, L. Cherubini, L. Beethoven, K. Orff, M. Leontovych, M. Lysenko, K. Stetsenko, E. Kozak, L. Dychko, E. Stankovych, as well as arrangements of rifle songs.

He has recorded more than 17 CDs.

He toured with the band in Poland, Belgium, the UK, Spain, Italy, and Israel.

ALEXANDER KRUKOVSKY

CEO, Honoured Artist of Ukraine

He was born on 1 July 1957 in Kyiv.

Graduated from the Mykola Lysenko Kyiv Secondary Specialised School and was in the first intake of the conducting and choral faculty
He graduated from the Tchaikovsky Kyiv State Conservatoire at the conducting and choral faculty.

In 2016, after winning the competition, Oleksandr Krukovskyi became the general director of the Revutsky Chapel. Since then, a new powerful period of artistic growth has begun for the ensemble.

Thanks to his creative approach as a manager, on the one hand, and a gifted musician with extensive experience, on the other, original musical ideas are brought to life, new projects and programmes are created, interesting musical material is selected, where different genres of music are skilfully combined, and modern performance tools are widely used.

As a result, today the performances of the Revutsky Chapel are no longer just wonderful concerts, but real musical and theatrical productions that meet the needs of our time.

New powerful creative ideas are being brought to life on the initiative of Alexander Krukovsky:

  • a landmark art project was presented to a wide audience - the literary and musical composition Born Free, accompanied by a film installation featuring shadow theatre;
  • a unique artistic programme of authentic Jewish music "Lehaimo, or To avoid crying, I laugh...";
  • the annual music festival "From-To" was launched and has already been held twice, combining different genres of music - classical, choral, rock and pop music;
  • musical tours of the historical sites of St Andrew's Descent, called "Musical Walk along St Andrew's Descent", and a tour of St Volodymyr's Hill were launched;
  • a quartet of soloists of the Chapel - "KaRe" - was created.
    and many other interesting projects.
